The BTC Member Tour gives all members the joys of competition pressure golf on pristine courses, without the weekend slow play or 6:00 AM alarm calls. Running bi-weekly throughout the main season (April to Sept) and monthly through winter, our events bring together ambitious club golfers for high-caliber, fast-paced golf.

Tournament Format & Rules

Every BTC Member Tour event is played as an official WHS handicap qualifying fixture.

  • Format: Individual Stableford

  • Handicap Allowance: 95% Course Handicap (WHS Playing Handicap)

  • Field Size: Strictly capped at 30 players (10 tee times per event)

  • Tie Breakers: Standard R&A Back-9 Countback (Back 9, Back 6, Back 3, 18th)

  • Prizes: Host Club Pro Shop Vouchers for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place (Gross & Net categories)

  • Schedule Release: Fixtures published 2 weeks in advance via the Member Hub

  • Entry Deadline: 24 hours prior to the first tee time

How It Works: Step-by-Step

  • Fixture dates and host Signature venues are published 2 weeks prior to each event via the Member Hub or WhatsApp Concierge. Tee times vary depending on partner club allocations.

  • Book via your concierge or the Member Hub before the 24-hour entry deadline. Entry uses 1 standard round credit, plus a £5 cash sweep paid directly into the event prize pot.

  • Arrive for your allocated midweek tee time, play alongside vetted low-handicap members, and log your score after every hole using the official BTC Golf Scoring App.

  • Once the final scorecard is submitted in the app, final results are calculated. Ties are settled via standard back-9 countback, and host club pro shop vouchers are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Gross and Net winners.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

To protect our partner tee sheets and maintain fairness for members on event waiting lists, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Notice Period: You may cancel your tournament entry up to 24 hours prior to the first tee time with zero penalty—your round credit will be fully returned to your balance.

  • Late Cancellations & No-Shows ("One Strike" Rule): Life happens, and genuine emergencies occur. Each member receives one grace exemption per season for a late cancellation (under 24 hours) or missed tee time without forfeiting their credit.

  • Subsequent Offenses: Any additional late cancellations or no-shows beyond your grace exemption will result in the forfeiture of the 1 round credit used for entry.
