Huntercombe Golf Club
About the Club
Laid out in 1901 by the legendary Willie Park Jr. on the high ridges of the Chiltern Hills, Huntercombe is a timeless inland treasure. As one of the early masterpieces of inland course design, Park Jr. utilized the natural, rolling terrain and ancient woodland to create a course free of artificial clutter. Famous for its unique "pots"—deep, grass-lined hollows rather than conventional sand bunkers—Huntercombe retains its historic charm, quiet exclusivity, and fast-running, pristine fairways.
