Ross-on-Wye Golf Club
About the Club
Hidden in the hills of Two Park Woods near the Wye Valley, Ross-on-Wye is widely regarded as one of the finest tree-lined parkland courses in the West Midlands. Designed by C.K. Cotton in 1964, the course is carved through mature oak, pine, and silver birch trees. Free from surrounding roads or housing, it offers a peaceful round where accuracy off the tee is strictly enforced by dense woodland.
Key Details:
The Course: A secluded, heavily tree-lined parkland layout with tight fairways, doglegs, and small, well-bunkered greens.
Championship Pedigree: Host to West Midlands regional championships and national amateur qualifiers.
Facilities: Traditional clubhouse overlooking the 18th green, Pro Shop, indoor swing studio, and practice grounds.
The Playing Experience: A target-golf test where shaping shots through narrow tree-lined corridors is mandatory
